Cold Chain Logistics
A validated refrigerated fleet, dedicated drivers, and telemetry on every shipment — engineered for fresh frozen plasma and high-value biologics.
The commitment
Temperature integrity is a chain, not a step
A load that leaves a collection center at the right temperature and arrives at the right temperature has still failed if nobody can prove what happened in between. Our transport program is built around continuous evidence: real-time GPS, in-transit temperature telemetry, and a temperature record attached to every shipment.
The weakest link in most cold chains is the transfer. Our dock is refrigerated to +2°C to +8°C, so product moving between the freezer and the trailer never crosses ambient air — the handoff is part of the chain rather than a gap in it.
We handle ground transportation and domestic air and sea freight. International freight forwarding and nationwide U.S. customs brokerage are handled with our partner ITS Worldwide. Transport to consignee is quoted roundtrip.
- Refrigerated dock at +2°C to +8°C — no ambient handoff between freezer and trailer
- Modern validated refrigerated fleet, custom built for plasma transport
- Real-time GPS and temperature monitoring on every shipment, 24/7
- Dedicated drivers trained exclusively on plasma handling
- Route planning tailored to each plasma center
- Scheduled pickups against a defined route calendar
- International freight forwarding and U.S. customs brokerage via ITS Worldwide
Equipment
Our trailers
Custom built for plasma. Every refrigeration unit is satellite controlled, every temperature reading is logged twice, and every trailer carries a validation record.
Redundancy, specifically
Two independent temperature records per trailer means a probe failure is visible rather than silent. Satellite control means a setpoint can be corrected before a driver reaches the next stop. Both exist so that an excursion becomes a phone call, not a discovery at delivery.
People
Our drivers
A dedicated driver knows which dock to back into, which center manager to call, and how long the load can sit. That knowledge is why dedicated routes outperform spot coverage on cold chain work, and it's why we staff this way — dedicated to plasma routes, Hazmat endorsed, and trained on nothing else.
Our transportation partner ITDS maintains its own pool of substitute drivers, each trained on the specific account they cover. When a dedicated driver is out for vacation, illness, or a family emergency, the route runs anyway.
- CDL licensed with Hazmat endorsement
- Trained exclusively on plasma handling and documentation
- Dedicated to defined routes and centers
- Trained substitute pool for unbroken coverage
- GPS in every tractor
- Chain-of-custody documentation at every handoff
